Tarsier: the world's smallest primate

Tarsier: the world's smallest primate

This is the smallest primate in the world. It's natural habitat is the forest along the banks of Logboc River. Other species can be found in Sumatra and Indonesia.

The tarsiers are endangered species. Tarsiers are nocturnal animals. They are quite sensitive too. So I did not dare touch the little one in the picture.

Ogtong Cave Resort

This is an exclusive resort in Bantayan Island...(not so exclusive when the Korean students from our center invade the area). ..hehehe...But there was always a place reserved for us. I miss the serenity of this place.

Bantayan Island

This is the 'little Boracay' of Cebu. The sands here are as white and as fine as the ones in Boracay. This place is a good retreat for folks seeking repose. This is also a great place for aqua sports like jetski, windsurfing, kayaking, etc.

But the area is not so great for snorkeling and scuba diving...The corals surrounding the island are dead. Years of dynamite fishing killed the marine life here...^@@^

Here, I was no longer awkward underwater. I was able to do 30 dives before going to Korea.
